Our Mission Statement

Helping Hands Community Thrift Store & Furniture Bank, LLC relies upon donations to stock its shelves.

Our goal for the Thrift Store is to be a fundraising vehicle for our non-profit partners while the Furniture Bank provides a much-needed service to the community.

Notes from our Happy Customers

Helping Hands is a valuable partner in helping Columbus House end homelessness and save lives. For over 30 years now, supporters such as you have helped those experiencing homelessness find safety, shelter, compassion, support and hope.

Your support allows Columbus House to build the capacity to do more than what is provided by government grants and contracts. You allow Columbus House to seize opportunities when they come about such as new programs for work readiness, transitional housing for homeless Veterans, supportive housing for homeless adults and over 65 programs to help homeless families with children, to name just a few.

Thank you forbeing part of the solution.

Columbus House, Inc.

My daugther, Stephanie, and I are frequent shoppers at Helping Hands. It is fun to shop and browse. It is quite evident that a tremendous amount of work goes into display and presentation. Your employees are super! Gina and Gineza greet you immediately when you enter the door. They truly enjoy what they do and treat shoppers like they are family. They create a pleasurable atmosphere. Your store and yout employees are an asset to our community.
